The former UFC Champion as well as WWE star Ronda Rousey has been taking on the WWE after she lost the SmackDown Women's Championship at Money in the Bank;
the situation got worse after Rousey was unable to win her match during SummerSlam in a controversial way.
She has been taking on backstage performers and referees -as well as recently an arm barring Adam Pearce -- which has received praise in the eyes of WWE fans.
As per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling The Observer Newsletter, however, WWE isn't planning on making Rousey become a baby-face
as they would like her to be a "mainline woman superstar" and not only "a woman on the roster who is below [Bianca] Belair,"
which is a position in which he believes Rousey was slipping. As he continued to discuss the goals of Rousey's ongoing story,
Meltzer explained that WWE would like Rousey to become a "special attraction," and a "big Brock Lesnar star."
The theory behind this tale was that, since Liv Morgan was being cheered by fans as a young face following her victory in the championship,
Rousey would become a heel. But the intention of WWE was never to make her a heel according to Meltzer,
it was all the time "to make her a big, big star." WWE is believed to have been "fine" if she ends in becoming a baby star due to this.
