A report of an autopsy completed following the passing of singer and country star Naomi Judd was published on Friday.
The report confirms reports that Judd, the singer, who was 76 years old, committed suicide.

The report, discovered by Associated Press, states that Judd died from an injury from a gunshot that she self-inflicted at her Tennessee home on the 30th of April.
"We have always shared openly both the joys of being family as well as its sorrows, too. One part of our story is that our matriarch was dogged by an unfair foe,"
the family stated in a statement to the AP. "She was diagnosed with PTSD as well as bipolar disorder with which millions of Americans can relate.
Judd was killed by suicide following an extended battle with mental illness. the daughter of the artist Ashley Judd,
54 have confirmed the fact that her mother committed suicide using the use of a gun during an interview on Good Morning America.
The autopsy reported that it found in the Judd's system a number of prescription medications that treat post-traumatic stress disorders and bipolar disorder.
The report comes just several weeks following Ashley Judd, her sister Wynonna Judd and Naomi's husband Larry Strickland
filed a petition in Tennessee seeking to block police reports and tapes of the probe into the death of the country singer.
