Florence Pugh once had nothing except the admiration of Olivia Wilde.
Florence Pugh said she was ‘in love with’ Olivia Wilde
Wilde, the "Don't Worry Darling" star is apparently been arguing with the director of the film earlier, saying that she's "in love" with Wilde.
"What did it feel like working alongside Olivia Wilde? Because I am in love with Olivia Wilde," Pugh, 26, asked Beanie Feldstein in the Variety's Actors on Actors interview special 2019.
Feldstein 29, 29, has previously collaborated together with Wilde 38 in "Booksmart," her highly critically acclaimed debut as a director.
"I think you and Olivia would be so drawn to each other," Feldstein stated at the time. "Because she is just as fearless as you are in her own, on-screen and off."
The next season, Pugh had been cast as a character in Wilde's thriller "Don't Worry Darling," along with Gemma Chan, Nick Kroll, Chris Pine, and Wilde's boyfriend, Harry Styles.
I can assure you I can guarantee you that Flo watching Olivia and Harry on top of each other on the set didn't make a good impression
since Olivia was still in a relationship with Jason Sudeikis at the time she first began to get involved with Harry," one insider said to us.
She added, "I know as a director, how difficult it can be losing an actor for a single day and I'm extremely thankful to her and Director Denis Villeneuve] for helping us.
We'll be able to celebrate her efforts this evening. I can't express enough how grateful I am to have her on our team as our director. She's amazing."
