Billy Joel welcomed surprise guest Olivia Rodrigo Wednesday evening during his 82nd consecutive show that sold out in NYC's Madison
Square Garden runs through her smash single "Deja Vu" as well as his own 1982 smash "Uptown Girl" which was released more than 20 years prior to when Rodrigo was born.
Dressed in a soaring white top with a brown-patterned skirt, and black leather boots. Rodrigo acknowledged the influence of Joel on her songwriting in "Deja Vu,"
which is a nod to Joel as well as "Uptown Girl." The two welcomed each other warmly after the former.
In addition to a constant stream of hit songs such as "Just You the way You Are," "Allentown," "Only the Good Die Young" and "My Life,"
the show on Wednesday featured rare songs like the show's opening "A Concern of Trust"
