The Kansas City Chiefs cut Josh Gordon on Tuesday, however, Andy Reid remains a fan of the wide receiver.

Reid said to reporters that Reid felt "proud" of Gordon, who was first signed by the Chiefs in September last year following receiving a reinstatement from an NFL suspension.

"Listen I'm very proud of Josh for everything he accomplished. It was an absolute delight to have him here," Reid said, via Pro Football Talk.

"There's a chance that he potentially is back here and if it doesn't work out somewhere else, but just from a football standpoint but also even the bigger picture of things,

Gordon was in the lineup for 12-games for the Chiefs He started seven of them. Gordon was only targeted 14 times,

but he did catch five passes for 32 yards and a touchdown. Gordon did not play in one of Kansas City's postseason matches.
